Terms & Conditions

At Maisonvale Escapes, we are committed to providing a seamless and exceptional guest experience. To maintain the integrity of our operations, we ask that reservations are made only when travel dates are confirmed.

Cancellation Terms

  • 100% refund for cancellations made 30 days or more before check-in.

  • 50% refund for cancellations made 14 - 29 days before check-in.

  • No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in.

Please note: These terms represent the maximum refund available. We are unable to offer exceptions beyond this policy.

Cancellation by Guest

If you wish to cancel your reservation, it must be done in accordance with the cancellation policy above.

Booking Amendments

Requests to change bookings - including dates, guest numbers, or length of stay - are subject to availability and approval by Maisonvale Escapes. Booking amendment requests will be considered subject to availability. Original cancellation terms apply in all cases.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected disruptions, including illness, emergencies, or unforeseen events.

Important: Personal belongings are not covered by Maisonvale Escapes for loss, theft, damage, or destruction during your stay. Guests are solely responsible for their personal safety and belongings.

Security Deposits

  1. A security deposit may be required to cover potential damages. The amount and conditions will be communicated at the time of booking.

  2. Security deposits are typically refunded within a specified period after check-out, provided no damages or breaches of booking terms occur.

Guest Expectations

  • Guests must be 21 years or older.

  • Maximum occupancy is strictly limited to the confirmed reservation count. External visitors are not permitted.

  • Guests are expected to treat the property and its amenities with care, maintaining the standards of Maisonvale Escapes.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: from 3:00 PM

  • Check-out: by 10:00 AM

  • Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Exceeding occupancy limits may result in cancellation without refund.

House Rules

  • Smoking: All properties are strictly non-smoking. Smoking inside the property may result in forfeiture of your security deposit.

  • Pets: Pets are not permitted.

  • Maintenance Access: Maisonvale Escapes may require access for repairs or inspections. Guests agree to cooperate to ensure comfort and safety.

    Noise monitoring

  • A Minut noise monitoring device is installed on the property. This device monitors sound levels only - it does not record conversations. Guests are notified of its presence in accordance with Airbnb and Maisonvale Escapes guidelines.

    Noise & Events

  • Parties and external visitors are prohibited.

  • Quiet hours must be observed from 10:00 PM onwards.

  • Excessive noise, disturbances, or breaches of house rules may result in immediate cancellation and eviction without refund.

Damages & Lost Keys

  • Guests must report any pre-existing damage upon arrival.

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.

  • Lost keys, remotes, or access devices will incur replacement costs up to $500.

Important Notice

Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in immediate termination of stay and eviction without refund.
